Sunflower Lunch Bag
By Quilter by Night Designs. This fun lunch bag has a hidden closure behind the sunflower.
Finished Size: 9" wide, 4" deep, 9" tall (15" tall with handle)
This listing is for the hard copy PATTERN mailed to you via USPS First Class Mail.
This insulated bag is large enough for a full size lunch and includes a pocket for a chill pack. The sunflower on the flap is not only pretty, but also conceals the front handle which is held in place with hook-and-loop tape creating a very sturdy, easy-to-carry bag. The stem wraps around the outside of the bag and when open, you get a full view of the lovely sunflower and it’s 3D leaves!
The sunflower is easily made from two long, 10-petal chains that are sewn, turned and then gathered. (You don’t have to make 20 individual petals!) Fat eighth friendly, or for a scrappier looking bag, cut your 2-1/2" squares from scraps or left over 2-1/2" strips.
Complete, accurate, easy to follow instructions. This is an intermediate level project. Experience with rotary cutting and piecing is assumed.
